Practical Work & Assessment  

Each lesson is a blend of online study and offline learning tasks. You will also be expected to learn by visiting kitchens, observing people working, and talking with people in places where food is prepared, stored or sold.

Online, there are also short self-assessment tests undertaken to review your learning in each lesson. There's an assignment which is submitted to the tutors at the end of each lesson. By revisiting the theme of each lesson in different contexts, what you've learned is refreshed and reinforced.
